Some of the smartest, hardest working students are derailed by unsubmitted assignments, lost work, misplaced materials, and end up with failing grades, lost scholarships, or ineligibility for sports teams because of deficits in executive functioning skills. I help your child build those skills and achieve the success they they are capable of. Explicitly learning and practicing executive functioning skills helps students and who are diagnosed with ADHD, autism, or learning disabilities while also supporting their families. You don't need to have a diagnosis to need help with executive function skills; just the desire to learn tools to keep your life better organized with intentional practice and monitoring by a professional.

About Liza Somilleda M.Ed., BCBA

For 22 years I have worked as an education specialist in the public school system. I am knowledgeable about standards based curriculum in grades K through 12. My area of greatest joy is in working with students and families where executive functioning deficits related to autism, attention deficit disorder or learning disabilities result in behavior challenges that make school or home life difficult.

I completed my undergraduate work at Cornell University, and earned my master's degree in education administration at Cal State Dominguez Hills. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with the BACB and I have over 13 years experience in designing and implementing behavioral interventions using Applied Behavior Analysis. I have worked for over20 years as an education specialist and school administrator in Los Angeles, CA. I am knowledgeable about IEP & 504 processes and can support with dialogue between home and school.

Most importantly my interventions and treatment plans are developed with my 19 years of mom-experience at the forefront. I know how busy the days get, and how chaotic the evening routine can become. My treatment plans and interventions are designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind, always.
